Security of RA substances

EBIS deals with security/physical protection of nuclear materials and facilities and radioactive (RA)substances. Company uses simulation tools pro scenario analyses, risk analyses and modeling of physical protection systems.

Security Analyses and Documentation

EBIS has a long tradition in drafting of security plans for al lstages in the sphere of nuclear power engineering for state administration as well for private sector. The main goal of system analyses is the design of effective and economical physical protection. Metohds based on ASD (Adversary Sequence Diagram), SAVI (Systematic Analysis of Vulnerability to Intrusion), EASI (Estimate of Adversary Sequence Interruption) and attack trees are beeing used.

Security plans are being elaborated by experienced security experts who take part in consultancy, lecturing and experience exchange within International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) located in Vienna.

Coplmete Tests and Testing of the Physical Systems

An integral part of the complete delivery process is verification of completeness and functional capability of work done. Based on the test programs elaborated in advance individual facility tests, precomplex testing of systems and complete testing of the project work are made. Only after successful completion of the complex tests the systems can be handed over to the user.

Another sphere of business is planning of measurement and testing procedures and the carrying out of existing physical protection systems tests.
