Access Control Systems (ACS)

Electronic access control proves useful anywhere the user needs to restrict free movement of persons and wishes to maintain precise records of such movement. Mechanical obstacles (doors, turnstiles, gates etc.) form an integral part of this system as they provide physical barriers the access to the selected areas.

The benefit of the system implementation consists in:

• restriction and control of the movement of authorized personnel,
• preventing of access to unknown and unwanted groups,
• exact real time localization of personnel.

Automated access control system for vehicle provides for comfortable, fast and operator free registration of passing vehicles equipped with electronic credentials. The system can be applied at parking places, in underground garages, entrances into the company grounds, at material storage yards and waste landfills and where there is a need for registration of movement of service vehicles. An important feature is access restriction to unknown vehicles. The system has similar features as the person access control systems, with the difference is that it enables identification of the vehicle or a driver without the necessity of interaction from the user, thus a "hands free" system. The unlocking of the barrier to allow vehicle passage can be automated or hand-operated. For instance, in some applications control of the load contents is necessary and therefore automated unlocking is not desirable and it is always made manually by the security service staff.
